Founded by researchers at UC Berkeley, the Berkeley Population Center is staffed by a diverse group of faculty and administrators from a variety of disciplines.

Some sixty faculty form the core of our research affiliates team. They, too, represent a range of academic disciplines, including Anthropology, Agriculture and Resource Economics, Biostaticstics, Business, Demography, Economics, Environmental Science, Epidemiology, History, Public Health, and Sociology.

As a premier University, high-calibre research is conducted on campus by established researchers and postdoctoral scholars, supported by research programs within our Colleges, Schools and Institutes.
