Im/Migration Berkeley

Im/Migration Berkeley

UC Berkeley has nearly 150 faculty, graduate students and professional researchers engaged in research and/or teaching on immigration, migration and diasporas (Im/Migration Berkeley). At a time when Im/Migration issues are assuming local, national and global prominence, Im/Migration Berkeley seeks to bring together scholars from different fields to share their work and build cross-disciplinary collaborations for research and teaching.

Im/Migration Berkeley is a first step towards creating better communication and encouraging collaborations among this diverse community of scholars. It is a joint venture of the Berkeley Population Center, the Institute for the Study of Social Change, the Institute of Governmental Studies, International and Area Studies, and the The Boalt Hall School of Law.
